Couldnt we get some videos of laser treatments?

Hi guys,

I just wondered if we could get some videos of different laser treatments with some explanations (pulse dye, ipl, v-beam, geminis, sciton lasertreatment of pores, etc. ) . Illustrated and carried out by someone like Dr. Crouch and others that are interested in helping us out? I dont know anything about laser treatments, just that some beams close some dilated blood vessels or something.

Hello All,
A couple of patients kindly drew my attention to this request and together we decided that we would try to help. With their kind permission, we have been allowed to video some IPL treatments using the triplc protocol (http://www.triplc.info). I'll approach Warren to ask if Wikipedia is the best place to put videos of treatments to help the rosacea section of the online encyclopedia ( I have to admit I have no idea if one can post videos to Wikipedia). If not then I'll happily post them to The Burghley Park Clinic website (http://www.burghleyparkclinic.com) under a link called treatment videos and will post a link back here for anyone who wishes to see them.

So far, the patients, our laser nurses and I have managed to video the following treatments :-

IPL using the TRIPC protocol for Acne Rosacea.
Pulse Dye Laser treatment of IPL resistant Rosacea.
NdYag Test patching using the Gemini Laser.

although we have many lasers and IPL sources at Burghley Park, patently we dont have evey bit of kit and we dont have the Starlux for example so if anyone has a physician using a Starlux then ask them if they mind contributing to this example laser treatment video reference.

Lastly - thank you to the patients who allowed their treatments to be videoed - this information will help the rosacea community as a whole by de-mystifying laser and IPL treatments.
