Can metronidazole cause numbness in fingers?
I am writing on behalf of my uncle who has been using Metrolotion for many years for rosacea. About six months ago all of his fingers began to feel numb and cold and the condition continues to persist. His primary care physician sent him to a rheumatologist followed by a neurologist neither of whom could pinpoint a cause.
Since one of the listed side effects of Metronidazole is numbness in the hands or feet, I wondered if anyone had any experience with that happening as a result of using one of the metro topical products.
Thanks,
Helen
