Thanks for taking the time to report your experience cashisclay. The treatment does certainly sound promising and I really hope it works out for you. My only concern is that you're maybe throwing around the idea that this is a cure a little prematurely. I can understand you're incredibly excited but wouldn't it be wise to wait a few months and see how your skin is then? Anyway I really wish you the best of luck and hope this really is a cure. Please let us know how you're getting on in a few months time

thanks cashisclay for posting about this. A good thread that has made quite a few senior members come out and comment.
I am intrigued but not quite yet ready to go to Ukraine. Instead i have started with the ZZ cream and it seems that there are enough overlapping points between the demodex theory and that of Dr. S to justify (to myself) trying it. 2.5 weeks on and my face is an ungodly mess. I hope it won"t last 4 months...

Is it something you'd consider ewist?
I must admit i'm very tempted i've been wrestling with it for the last week wondering if i'd be able to cope. The thing is i can't just hide away for 4 months, i'd have to conitnue working and socialising (i wouldn't want to loose friends because of it)

Yes, I have been thinking about it..
I have the same exact concerns as you, if I was 100% that it would finish it off for good, I think I could do it. The 4 months would be hell though, check your PM.

I too just completed Dr. Syrokomskky's treatment. I went out there with Dan. I cannot add too much to what both he and Dave have already said. I can't yet give a full report of my results since I have just stopped 6 days ago and am still peeling a lot. If I had to give a percentage right noe I would say that I am 60-70% improved. I am told that my skin will continue to improve as it heals up. I may have to continue to attack some of the infected areas which are my cheeks. My nose looks really good so I am not too concerned about it right now. There is no set time with this ttreatment. Everyone's skin is different and we all have varying degrees of this disease. I will say that no doubt this treatment is the best out there. Believe me I have tried several such as the RTIT in Texas, and Dr. Nick Soldo from Arizona, he is great by the way. Am I cured? No. Am I way better? Yes. I will continue to do what I have to tho either get rid of this or beat it back so much that it does not affect me. I will try and give some more info when I have a little more time for those who are interested.

Hi jpappliance,
I'm certainly interested ...i've been thinking about it for a while. Could you tell us what type of rosacea you had and whats improved so far?
Did you go back home to start the treatment? and how did your friends and work colleagues react during the treatment. It's this that i'm very worried about, i can't imagine just turning up at work with my face peeling off.
Cheers,
Spav

I had permanent redness in my cheeks and nose. Red almost all of the time, at best it would be dark pink and super reactive. A severe flusher, I am talking about 20-30 times a day depending on what I was doing. As far as improvement the areas that were red are now a light pink and my flushing has improved tremendously. Like I said I have more of this to kill of but I am confident that I can either finish the job or get pretty darn close. I was only in the Ukraine for a few days. I am from California so it was a crazy trip. I just told all my friends and family what i was doing. I also go to church every week and have to speak there often. If you are up front with everyone than you will have a great support group and not worry too much about people trying to figure out why your face looks crazy. It is not easy getting over. I install kitchen appliances for a living so I am confronted with a new person several times a day every day while working in their homes. I do not reccomend doing manuel labor during this treatment by the way. I have since I have to work and have a family to support, but for me that has been one of the toughest parts because you are going to burn like crazy flushing and all. But so far it is well worth it and again I will contnue with it.
