Default Pyratine-6 comes out in Feb. 2008

Pyratine-6 comes out next month. Derms should have samples then. Pyratine-6 is in the same chemical family as kinetin(sold as the brand Kinerase) but is far more potent than kinetin.

The test results showed a 62 percent reduction in redness/inflammation over 12 weeks. With the added benefit of wrinkle reduction and softer skin.

They are doing a second clinical test in the spring.

That's all i found out so far. Post feedback if you get samples and try it.

Is it prescription or non-prescription?

Thanks!

Looks like this was a spin-off of an anti-aging cream they have, it's an OTC item. - Looks like something in the same vein as Sansrosa, except this also diminishes fine lines, wrinkles ect. - an interesting read.

I didn't see anything about it being released for sale next month, I'll go check their company website - I hope the price is within reason.. but it is targeted for acne rosacea and it say's it significantly whitens or blanches the skin..

Default Pyratine-6

It is an otc product.

I think it is being sold as an anti-aging, repair sun damage and wrinkle removing product primarily for now. I believe it cranks up collagen production. Pyratine-6 has strong anti-inflammatory properties, too.

I assume they are doing the additional clinical test to bring out an otc acne rosacea product or a prescription product but i do not know for sure.

There should be an avalanche of free samples to start off the launch.

Senetek is just starting their trials on Pyratine/6 for acne-rosacea, slated to last 48 weeks, ending in January 2009.

I just e-mailed Seneteks' IR and requested what the public release date for Pyratine/6 will be... hopefully will get a reply to post ASAP.

It might be?? - Since this is OTC they just may be releasing it without any data of it's effect on Acne/rosacea, hence the start on the trials on Acne/rosacea. -
