UK Members - Rosacea Master Class Event in London
Hello
I spoke to Alison Bowser from the Acne Support Group today and said I would put a post on here about a Rosacea Master Class event they are holding next month in London - see below.
I have been to some of their events before and they are very well organised and attended plus you have a chance to discuss various rosacea problems with people in a similar position.
If you want to go fill the form in below and send it off. Any specific queries let me know and I will send them to Alison for an answer.
Regards
Peter

Ouch!
No kidding Cheesy. I think I'll stay at the Rosacea Forum where everything is free. I don't need to pay that kind of money to speak to fellow rosacean's face to face. I already know what rosacea looks like.

True, but I think it would be nice to speak with some genuine experts! Have them present what they know of rosacea to date.
Sometimes we can get very insuler in this little internet bubble. Dont forget something - we know nothing. What are our links to the medical community? None. Are we in the loops? NO!
I seriously think I may go this one. Talk to them about lazers, about rosacea progression etc. Here what the top people think.

If I lived anywhere near there - I'd be willing to do it - if only to help reinforce how many people suffer from the condition (I really hope the press is made aware of it - the more awareness the better and of course, the greater the numbers - the greater the $ to be made from rosacea!).

Cheesy
The ASG is a UK registered charity so it is not a profit making organisation. Can understand your concerns but not everybody is out to rip off rosacea sufferers. Think about the cost involved in hiring a room in central London for a day, providing food, paying a Consultant Dermatologist for his time plus the other experts. Anyway Alison e mailed me this today:
Hi Peter
Just checked out your posting - many thanks. The only thing I would like to say is that the reason we are making a small charge this time is to cover our costs - as much as we would love to have experts join us for nothing, our experience has shown us this is very hard to achieve. Therefore, we give a small honoriarium plus expenses for some of our speakers, plus room hire and travel for us to get and stay there. We still believe we will offer great value for money - where else can you get such fabulous experts together on one subject??
It'll be full of useful tips and advice (we are offering a tip exchange throughout the day, to share other people's top tips and advice).
We have ages until the deadline for Face Forward, so no rush on that.
Best wishes
Alison

Hello Mr dynoMITE
Wasnt there a Napoleon Dynamite once on the forum? Interesting.
Depends how you view 50 quid and what your priorities are. You wouldnt mind paying that to see a football game or for a months gym membership would you, so why not for a one off day that might well help you with rosacea? Bit of a trek for you I suppose even if you could afford it?
