Default Finally Cured my winter only roscea.

Basically ive been injecting 0.05mg(half a milligram) of melanotan 2 into my system for the past 10 days (so ive used 5mg's) and i am pleased to say the redness and bumps have all gone. I feel like a massive weight has been taken off my shoulder finally.

The redness started dissapearing after just 2 injections (no sunbeds or sun) and now by day 5 its gone, MY BUTTERFLY REDNESS HAS GONE . I used the sunbeds after my 7th day and it gave my skin such a nice colour, I almost have perfect skin. I have noticed though my eyes have still stayed fairy bloodshot (due too cold weather) but this is not much of an issue.

I can not put into words how wonderful I feel.

Any questions... shoot away!

This stuff hasn't even been approved for health and safety yet, I can't believe people are using it! Please reconsider... I know rosacea is difficult to deal with but I wouldn't run the risk of unknown side effects!

I don't mind taking a risk, I'm sure the stress would do far worse too me. Down to personal preference really.

A pedantic dig but usage of the melanotan peptides doesn't really "cure" anything. Melanotan-1 is being tested as a therapeutic agent for a series of UV and light affected dermal indications. For these indications though it will only work as long as it is being used.

Hey Sammy,

Not sure if you're still around, but your post grabbed my attention. What do you mean when you say the Melanotan "eliminated" your redness? Did you actually see a reduction in erythema before you started to tan?

It was my impression that Melanotan, in both incarnations, provided only a way of concealing rosacea--the melanin in the skin masking the redness. I could see how it would make skin less dry and sensitive, due to the increased oil production, but actively decreasing redness is a whole 'nother story.

Then again, I've heard that Melanotan II is an anti-inflammatory, so maybe that had something to do with it?

Default benefit risk ratio

Before one tries this be sure to check the forum search feature on this site and more important Google the Melanotan side effects carefully learning what they are and the risks associated with it.

One has to understand the benefit risk ratio of a treatment before one considers any treatment for rosacea or any disease or accident. If one understands the risks involved then so be it. But if one foolishly engages in a treatment without considering the risks then the key word in this equation is foolish. One will find out what the risks are especially the short and long term risks associated with Melanotan treatment for rosacea the hard way. That is why there are warnings for every treatment. Ignore the warnings and you may find out the hard way later what they tried to tell you.
