Default New Appointment System - public announcement

Dear All,
Just to let those who are calling at the moment to request appointments - The Burghley Park Clinic is putting the finishing touches to the new web appointment booking system and this will go live very shortly (approx. 7-10 days).

Thank you to the patients who offered to test the system and provide feedback - testing is now complete and we are confident that the system is working and secure and we are very grateful for the feedback.

Feedback so far from patients who have booked is that they like being able to access the appointment system 24/7/365 and the can browse the full range of appointments available including earlier appointments with other clinicians.

Existing Patients
We plan to launch the new system by sending existing patients an email (or letter if we have no registered email address) with a link to the new booking system plus their log-in credentials.

New Patients
We plan to register new patients details over the next few weeks and will send them a link plus log in credentials also.

I know that moving over to this new system has interrupted the appointment booking system but based on the feedback from the patients who have tested it thus far, we trust that being able to access the new system will be worth the short wait.

Kind regards,

Peter

Dear All,
I am glad to report that we have gone live with our on-line registration and web appointment system.

Those existing patients who have tested the system and booked appointments this week report positive experiences. weare ironing out any wrinkles and kinks in the system but are happy that we can open up new patient registration.

The system is availble 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. there are over 100 appointments available over the next 4 months. One in four appointments are set aside for new patients to reserve and book for assessments and test patches.

Emails to the clinic will shortly get an automatic reply advertising this new system and encouraging new patients to register on line as the response online will inevitably be much quicker.

Thank you for contacting The Burghley Park Clinic:-

Our Website is http://www.burghleyparkclinic.com for information about services we offer.

We politely request all new patients to kindly register their contact details on-line and indicate which area of treatment they are interested in.

This will enable us to contact you to offer you an appropriate appointment.

A shortcute to New Patient Registration is now available online at http://www.newpatientregistration.co.uk

Kind regards,

The Burghley Park Clinic

Many of our patients are working and find it difficult to call to book a new or follow up appointment during office hours when we are open. We now have a significant number of patients travelling from abroad and the the difference can make contacting the clinic tricky. We hope that booking online will be the way forward and we are dlighted to be able to offer this 24/7 facility.

Thank you to everyone for bearing with us whilst we made this change. we are working our way through the backlog of requests. If anyone has left a voicemail message but still wishes to register, please use the registration link above - it asks all the questions we need answers to in order to register and we can respond so much more quickly if you register online.

We had to install a spam protector (similar to the one used on the forum to check that searches are requested by hmans not web bots as we got spammed initially - thankfully this has stopped this in its tracks).

Once registered we will send patients login credentials and offer the available appointments for patients to choose from.

Kind regards,

Peter

PS I have just completed the answers to the Q&A's - thank you to everyone who asked such insightful sensible questions - I'm sure the answers will be posted soon.
