If the OP is still around, can you elaborate on the "maintenance program". Once you have done the peels and your Rosacea symptoms are resolved, there is apparently a maintenance program that you keep to to keep the disease in remission, what does this consist of? Herbs? Diet? Lifestyle?
Thanks
I couldn't see myself having the you know what's to do this. I mean, going to Russia/Ukraine, having these chemicals poured on your face by a foreign Dr. I am not disputing the results, they do seem very real, but the whole set up sounds like a thriller type of movie...that and ETN surgery are 2 things I think I would not go near. Nonetheless, I am glad it works for some people but I also wonder about the pics and why some have notes of discontinuation of treatment. Could likely be due to the strict regimen that he talks about or the pain? I question why the whole treatment is so secretive as well, why not share his results/theory/treatmen with other Dr.'s?
I wish he would share his theory and practice on herbs and how he uses them to strengthen the immune system, this could prove beneficial for some even without doing the peels, you would think.
I think they all look like they have some signs of Rosacea in the before pics, some are very mild, some closer to moderate or severe. The mild ones do not look like typical Rosacea though you are right, but I know Rosacea can vary so greatly in terms of symptoms and signs from one person to the next.

Hey all
I haven't posted in some time, but I still lurk around and enjoy reading about new advancements for this brutal disease.
As for my condition, I can't say I am cured, but still better than when I went over there. On a good day my skin will look and feel almost 100%. Other days the ugly beast rears its ugly head and I feel like I am back at square one. The good days certainly out weigh the bad ones fortunately. I continue to battle and fight it back.
I still dream everyday of pale, flush-free skin. Hopefully, in the near future that dream will become a reality.
I'm not sure what is next on the agenda for me. I still like to use the Dr. S's meds because it beats the redness back and has completely eliminated my oily skin. However, I still am hungry to achieve my ultimate goal, which is pale, flush-free skin.
I have been toying with the idea of starting up some RLT. It seems that many people on here have benefited tremendously from it. I contacted the owner of ledman.com and he has been real helpful in steering me in the right direction.
Some other ideas I'm tossing around in my head:
* VBeam (Melissa recommended a good derm and laser specialist in NYC that I would definitely check out)
* Clonidine/Remeron (I guess Dr. Chu recommends this)
* Herpanacine (seems like an interesting supplement)
* Going on a covert operation to Galderma and loading up on SansRosa (kidding, but hopefully we see this product hit the market in 2010)
I still do believe that Dr. Syrokomskyy cures many people of their rosacea. I wish I was one of them, but unfortunately I am not. I have to settle for good results, just not the cure I hoped for.
Hope to hear from many of you.
Dan

Good to hear from you Dan and at least you put your heart on the line and tried a treatment that I don't think many of us would be brave enough to embark on.
I am glad you are enjoying the good days and not letting the bad ones that creep in ruin it for you because this is hard to do.

Hi Dan,
I'm glad things are going OK and I agree with Alli- it is good to hear from you.
I think RLT would be a helpful adjunct to maintaining more good days vs bad so I hope you do give it a go.
Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Best wishes,
Melissa

Thanks Melissa. I think I will be giving RLT a go soon. It seems many on here have had some real nice benefits. I certainly will post my results once I get going.

Yes, I would absolutely do it again. Even though I am not cured it still was the best thing I have done to date for my rosacea.
I'm still searching for more though. I really want to make my rosacea a distant memory. It looks like some good things are on the horizon for rosacea. Hopefully they hit the market soon.

Cashisclay, do you suffer from occular rosacea? Dr. Syrokomskyy's website says he treats occular rosacea but, obviously, I can't imagine scrubbing the crap out of my eyes with harsh chemicals. I'm assuming the treatment is supposed to treat an underlying infection which would consequently eliminate occular rosacea. Do you have any experience / thoughts on this?
