OK update,
i did my sixth ipl treatment 4 weeks ago, treated full face and neck
560 18js
590 22js
640 24js
all triple pulse,it was a good treatment,
Just finished my seventh treatment an hour ago,
56018js
59024js and 640 26js
i treated my neck with 590 24js and 640 24js all triple pulse,
So far improvements have been great,my damaged textures better and redness has lessened hugely, ive been taking loximine for the past few months which has decreased my flushing 10 fold,Ive tried beta blockers and clonidine but loximine works better for me,
So loximine,,ipl, plus time has improved to date my face and neck by 80 percent which is huge!!!!!!

Hi Matt, ive been following your posts. I am undergoing Lumenis One tx too. I have had 3 over the span of a year and I will try to stick with it and do them monthly this time. My issues are flushing and texture that I am trying to improve. For texture, what do you think works best? My derm's office said that they use the 640 for that. Are the deeper ones better for texture? Do I really need the 695 or even the 755? My last treatment was with the 560, 590, 640.

Keep the levels off the 560 low, 590 and 640/695 will give true rejuvenation,640 and 695 work the same,Just beware there also very good at hair removal, It may take a few treatments but they do work,This is from some one whose tried everything,Its the only thing that's worked for me,Amazing really.

I have another question about the lumenis one. I have been to a few places to get these treatments. At one place, the lady went really fast and the treatment was over in 5 or 10 minutes. she gave lots of shots but really fast, one after the other. I have been to another place where the lady went slower and the treatment took about 20 minutes. She gave me lots of shots and they overlapped in some area I think. I might be overthinking it, but is it harsh on your skin if they go too fast? How is it supposed to be done? Should a good treatment include lots of "shots"?
Also, i am curious how your skin looks after treatment and in the days after treatment. After treatment my skin looked really red which faded in a few hours. Now, 3 days later, it looks OK, but not as good as before treatment, It looks a bit irritated, but nothing too bad.

Your skin can look crappy for weeks but what ive noticed if the treatment went well my skin looks better the next morn,People will dispute this but other ipl machines can leave u looking battered for a long time if the lumenis one works it works right off the bat,Redness usally clears within 24 hours(personally i think any one who undertakes ipl with not using his machine is stupid/mislead,If your doing a triple pass,(using 3 different filters going over the face three times)is better off that the treatment is slow so the practitioner can see whats going on,People that rush these treatments couldn't care less off the out come,Ive received damage in the passed though rushed treatments,
My triple passes can take up to 45 mins,Tell ur doc/derm to slow dowm and see how/what /if ur skin is reacting,
Hope that helps
