My Rosacea has disappeared since I tried Melanotan II
Hi Everyone,
I am a 100% IRISH type 1 skin type with a "rogue" pinkish, transluscent white complexion with blue eys, who also got the misfortune of getting rosacea as well.
Since college I have had rosacea, fortunately(and maybe a bit strange) only around my nose area, as well as occasional ocular rosacea.
I took metrogel & doxy( both with no change), and light pulse lasers.
The light pulse lasers were painful, but did help some, except my redness on my nose never completely lost its red, and rosacea returned completely within 3-4 months. I have been frustrated for years, and it has ruined my self confidence that I had as a kid and teenager
I have been reading on this board for years, and always new I was pretty cursed with my skin tone. I began using sunless tanners about 6 years ago, and they helped to make my rosacea not stand out so bad, and I actually got a girlfriend in school after I began using it. I used it religiously to help even out my skin tone, but I hated it. In my case a "suntan" look seemed to help blend my rosacea away.
What I did this month is I bought some Melanotan II , and I have been taking it intravenously for 6 weeks. It has evened out my skin complexion under my shorts and shirt where I get no sun exposure, and I have developed a pretty nice tan on my arms and face (less on my legs). What I have experienced is nothing short of incredible for me. I have actually developed a really nice tan, and have not sunburned when I've been in the sun!!!!! Best of all, my rosacea has completely disappeared, and my face is now naturally tan! I have become tan for the first time in my life, and it doesn't wash off or smell like sunless tans, and girls are smiling at me because I do actually look handsome for the first time in my life.
My life has changed, as I finally feel good holding my head up high, and looking people in the eyes with a smile. I wanted to share my experience with anyone who has a similiar problem as me, and let you know there is hope. I hope this helps.
