    Default Zyrtec

    HI guys
My nose is swollen a bit, it burns,is red and sometimes tingles,,The past few weeks I have been experiencing all 4..I notice that when I take Advil for cold,, all sensations stop and brings down some swelling..Have to take it every 4 hours which is out of the question.. I also have summer, spring and fall allergies, ragweed, pollen,,when it is cold in the fall my nose aches,,allergies again,, I've used reactin in the past, but not strong enough for the rosacea I've gotten since May of last year..Anyway do you think zyrtec would be a good antihistamine for all these?? And if so can it also help with the redness, burning, itching and tingling in my face..It's my understanding that you can have an allergic reaction deep down in your skin, not always visible,,causing swelling, itching, irritation and redness to occur,, If this is the case a antihistamine should help with all my nose and face symptoms. Also is it sold in Canada?..If not what is the equivalent? Thank you all..

I have really bad allergies, which served as my #1 trigger. I started getting allergy shots in Nov 2005 and have notice a dramatic reduction in flushes due to allergies. I highly recommend it. Medications did little if anything to reduce my flushing symptoms.

    Best,
    Trey

    Default hello there Sandra!!!!!

    Sandra,

I tried Zyrtec and it made me sooooooo sleepy i couldnt function. It wasnt worth it for me to take even if it worked. It made me a zombie.

Stinks, cause it cost me $50 to try it.

    have a great day!
