    Default clinique products

I've just visited clinique website and it seems that they mave very good products from sun protectors to make ups. It amazes me that most dont contain alcohol and oil. So far I used 2 products from clinique and they didnt irritate me.

Can you guys share your experience with clinique products?

They have released a new anti-redness product and the woman in the store told me that she went red frequently but that products helped her. I know rosacea skin is much different but still dont know whether it can help some of us. She said she still felt that she flushed but when she looked at the mirror, she didnt see it. I will give that product a go soon. It is sold only in Harrods in UK now and will be in other stores by February I guess.

Clinique products are very good and reasonably priced. I do like the Clinique for Men M-gl although I always have to use as little as possible. Its similar to filtred jojoba oil in texture, very light and non greasy. Ive heard others liking this product as well. Also the cityblock sunscreen is very good, much better than Vanicream in my opinion. However, I better not talk too much about cosmetics cause I dont really tolerate any of them

I dont know the ingredients of anti-redness cream but the lady in the stand seemed to be very knowledgable. She told me not to use any product that contained alcohol and told me about potential irritants. She seemed to know the difference between sensitive skin and red(rosacea)skin. As she recommended that product to me, I am sure most of the ingredients are rosacea friendly but I will mail cliniqiue to ask for the ingredients and I wll post them here soon.

Careful...I know I was intolerant to certain "safe" topicals. Clinique was a good sunscreen (CityBlock) when I was able to use it.

I'm overly cautious, now, though. If it works, and you get no sting/burn/buzzing on your face after applying it, go for it.

Toleraine Soothing Light Facial Fluid for moisturizer. I don't use a special cleanser. Clonidine daily; klonopin sometimes.
BEST and CURRENT TREATMENT I use: Low-Level Red Light Therapy LED array.
Please feel free to PM me with your low-level red light therapy (LLRLT) questions. I'm happy to help if I can.

    Hello Francois,

Was the product that you were shown called, Clinique CX Redness Relief Cream? I have used this product and it was a great disappointment for me and actually made my flushing worse. Go figure!!

Now having said that, I also know how particular and finicky my skin can be so please try it and report back to us with your experience.

If it's not to your liking, Clinique have a great return policy and you'll be sure to get your money back if you react to it.

Good luck and I hope it really helps you.

    Mermaid,

Sure, I'll report back when I try it. Actually the anti-redness creams work well for me. I also tried La Rorce Posay Rosaliac anti-redness mousturiser. I felt like it was the best mousturiser I ever used. It calmed my skin and reduced redness a minute after application. It was amazing.

I was told by group members that it contained alcohol. I had to stop using it just in case it may worsen my skin in the long run use. If it had no alcohol, I would certainly stick with it.

Mermaid, do you know any potential irritant in that anti-redness product(redness relief CX)?

On the other hand, I am intending to use a make up to cover the redness. As I adore clinique's oil free formulations, I will try "Clinique Almost Make Up SPF 15". I also appreciate any input about Cliniques oil free foundations+ sun screen.

    Thank you Mermaid.
