Is this the oral antibiodic for MetroCream? I don't understand what Metronidazole is and why it's recommended by some? Is it any better than Minocycline for acne and redness?

Metronidazole is the generic prescription drug for Metrogel. Metronidazole is in Metrocream and Metrolotion, just different. Some rosaceans say Metrocream is better than either Metrogel or Metrolotion, but you be the judge. Some rosaceans say metronidazole doesn't help at all.
