    Default Rosacea Ad

Ok, so my way of trying to help is with design. On my way to work this morning, this popped into my head.

Instead of tryin to bring rosacea to the forefront of the public mind, why not bring it to the medical community? Ads in medical journals and such. Ads on Medical websites. The medical community won't come to us, so we go to them?

    Here's one idea I had...

I have no problem with you using the ad, but make sure the image gets credited properly. The preview image is free, but the image itself probably costs around $300.

I think that would be fine.

I'll go to Getty and see what they say about using Preview images.

Ok, I went and read about it. Basically, I think you'll be OK putting the courtesy of line on it. It's just the rosacea site and not for making money, correct?

    thanks :-)

I think I may try to do a series of food or hot items like this for the RRDi to use if they'd like. The more I think about it, the more that pop into my head.

I may have to do some grocery shopping! :-)

    Kelli,

I think that is the coolest catchiest logo/advertisement I have ever seen. Fantastic job. You never want to fool around with perfection, but I have one tiny tiny tiny suggestion.

The top words are great, except for the sweating -- this is not a rosacea symptom but a chili pepper response. Might you substitute that with "Burning" or something that goes with both rosacea and chili peppers? Please forgive me for even commenting because it is awesome.

    Kelli,

I think this is great stuff. Coming soon to a 'Womans Own' near you.

Err, not that I read 'Womans Own'

Seriously, do you have any plans to send this out? If so, please make sure my GP gets a copy!

Dr. Nase - You aren't the only one to mention the wording. :-) I knew it was off, but it got my initial idea down on paper. I'm still thinking of ways to go with this, so as soon as I can, I'll make up at least two more to go with it.

Bob - I would lvoe for these to be eventually used to do some good. This is really just a mock up of an idea. I'm going to continue to work with it and see what else I can create. :-)

And - thanks to you both!
