Dear Nase,
What is your opinion about these machines and the efficacy on rosacea? I've mild rosacea with main concern of flushing.
Actually, I've posted in another section as follows:
Have anyone of you have had success with either one of the PDL/IPL or both?
I have had 3 Medilux IPLs one month apart with no result. Then, my derm switched me to the Cynosure PDL for 2 treatments 2 weeks apart. I've just had the last (5th) tx last Saturday. She said that PDL is more powerful & might work for me. I'm skeptical but I tried!!
Honestly, I don't see significant improvement whether the redness, flushing or even skin tone & pore sizes!!
After all these treatments, I didn't swell at all (except the last one I have few bruise spots), I did have redness but it subsided within an hour after treatment. Is this normal? I see from other members that they have quite significant side effects for few days. So, does it mean my derm is not aggressive enough?
My derm suggested me to have a consultation one month after, she's not suggesting another treatment. Do it mean I'm IPL/PDL resistant?
I've mild rosacea with major concern of flushing. Little pap and general pinkness over cheeks & nose.
Besides, one interesting thing: I always tried to induce a flush before my treatment. I drank hot chocolate & hot soup & walk to my ferm's office under hot weather. BUT by the tiime I arrive at the office, NO Flush!! It's difficult to INTENTIONALLY inducing a flush!!! Do you have the same experience??
Any input is HIGHLY appreciated. In particular, should I continue treatment with these machines?
