    Default Anhydrosis and rosacea

Many people have noticed excessive sweathing, and it is a problem for rosace sufferers. I've got the opposite, especialy on my forehead and now the rest of my face -- anhydrosis; I just don't sweat, even though I live where it is hot ALL of the time.

My face is rough and scaly, though, and now I am on low dose Sotret for acne and clogged pores.

Anyone else have this problem, and if you do, what is to be done about it??

    Thanks
    Bett

I don't sweat much, either. Haven't for years. It makes it more difficult to cool off in a hot climate, and I notice extreme fatigue when the temp goes over 85. But I don't feel the need to to make myself more sweaty! There are certain advantages, like no perspiration stains under your arms and your hairdo staying intact while others wilt.

    Default And I wonder....

Because my forehead is full of hyperkeratotic skin and follicular plugging (which Accutane will work on I hope), I wonder if the lack of being able to sweat has produced the rosacea.

    Any ideas?

I notice my friends who sweat freely do NOT have rosacea.

    Default I don't sweat either

Just been to the gym in the UK (air con on fullblast) and my face is beet red and swollen. Yet I do sweat in very humid climates and y skin one milion times better, as I get hot in this type of climate my face is pale. Thinking of moving!

In wiinter in the UK, my face is an absolute mess as the dry heat causes my skin to flare like eczema.
