Basically the routine is to drench your face and scalp with apple cider vinegar with mother and to start a strict dieting regimen. I tried it for about 4-5 months last year and it really worked well for my rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis. Within about 3 weeks of starting the routine my seb derm was completely gone and my face was a lot less sensitive to triggers in general and skin products. But the reason I stopped was because it is soooo hard to keep going because the diet is so strict and its hard to fit in 3 drenches of apple cider vinegar a day. Anyway, after a while it seemed to sort of 'contain' my rosacea on my face( i have the usual dr. nase looking face rosacea) to just certain areas. My skin has improved in sensitivity as well as texture even after being off of the treatment for about 6 months now. Just thought I would let you guys know maybe some of you will be interested. It brings up some good questions about the treatment of rosacea. Basically, acvwm(apple cider vinegar with mother) has about a 6% acidic content which you gradually work your way up to 100% acvwm drenches by diluting it with water the first couple weeks or however long it takes for you skin to get used to it. Before doing this my skin was so sensitive I couldn't even apply metrogel to it. However now my skin can basically tolerate any topical medication I put on it. I know you recommend to not fight through skin irritation Dr. Nase, but this really did help me out. I kind of felt like I was 'pre-flushing' my rosacea and each time I did it I was less red and less trigger-sensitive. Additionally, it is a 100% natural treatment regimen and you must not take any medication while doing it. I felt alot better body wise, and I looked alot better too.
