Hi Group,
I received a sample of Rosaliac from La Roche-Posay which is a green tinted moisturizer that is supposed to be the "rage" of Europe. It primarily, or so they advertise, is an anti-reddening cream. I tried it a couple of times now and although the moisturizing effect is OK, I don't see any less reddening. Know anything?

I have it too...same results as you. The only reason they say anti reddening is because it's green. For a long time, makeup artists use certain colors to cancel out others. Blue to correct ashyness, green to correct red, etc.

Isononyl Isononanoate: emollient ester
Glycerin: humectant
Cyclohexasiloxane: volatile silicone oil
Alcohol Denat: solvent
Niacinamide: b3 derivative

(The emollient ester is not particulaly great for moisturizing. )

There is niacinamide which is great, but seems to be the only redeeming ingredient. Not worth the money.

I have used the cream but was scared off by the alcohol but I just bought the Rosaliac cleanser and so far, I like it. I use it with the LRP light facial fluid.

I received a tiny sample of Rosaliac, also. I was afraid to use it in case they had snuck in cortizone. I remember when Clinique came out with a "skin-soothing creme" and it turned out cortizone was an ingredient. They'd given me a couple of sample packets of it. (They had cortizone listed as an ingredient, fortunately.)

So, what's' the last word on Rosaliac: good, bad or indifferent?
