    Have a look at this:

In a nutshell -- foods high on the GI list are bad for you.

Corn is also implicated in many health problems due to the fact that 90% of corn produced is genetically modified. Corn is being taken out of pet foods one brand after another and for good reason - it makes animals sick. There have been numerous accounts of animal herds which, being fed corn and soybeans, have crippling diseases and go to the slaughterhouses with their bones ready to break from osteoporosis, skin problems, breathing problems etc etc. Every connection done with humans has amounted to similar health problems. In summary: stop eating anything genetically modified, which includes corn, soybeans and a host of other foods. You will invariably be healthier.
Current skincare regime for rosacea subtypes I, II and IV started March, 2012:

*Strict diet. No dairy, wheat, sugar, nuts/seeds, legumes. Only meat, 'safe starches', and low-phenol starchy/unstarchy fruits and veggies and water with ghee, lard and duck fat as cooking aids and sources of fat. Also avoiding food intolerances.
Supplementing with raw food multivitamin, liquid zinc sulfate with copper, epsom salt baths (magnesium sulfate), calcium and vitamin C. Lots of water!

allalone: Everyone is unique and what works for one person might not work for you. A big thing for me was avoiding my food intolerances like gluten, milk and eggs. Unfortunately the only one who can find out your specific food intolerances is you. However, there are some foods which are unhealthy for everyone, no matter who they are. These foods are anything genetically modified, gluten-containing foods, pasteurized dairy, soybeans, and most beans in general. Corn is also a problem not only because it is genetically modified, but they have found that the vast majority of corn is infected with molds with highly toxic compounds in them like aflatoxin.

I personally follow the 'Perfect Health Diet', which aims to take out any food which has potentially toxic chemical compounds in it, such as molds, anti-nutrients and the like. The diet is geared at promoting health by not ingesting things which force the body into removing the harmful substances so that it can spend its time on the healing process. You can find the details here: http://perfecthealthdiet.com/the-diet/

There are a few things I disagree with - namely the dairy aspect IF it is pasteurized. Raw dairy, go for it.

If you feel lost, the best thing to do is to throw your preconceptions of what is healthy and what is not healthy out the window. For a long time I thought that 'fat was bad'. It turns out that fat is not only not bad, it is extremely good for us, while things like whole wheat bread is a health disaster. It's just up to us to think for ourselves and not accept blindly what we're being told. After all, scientists have been wrong about so many things, and it turns out that the last 30 years of dietary advice has been killing us far more than bacon ever did.

Corn is supposed to be a highly inflammatory food. The Chinese doctor I saw for a wgile adviced me to not eat it (and she had some more food items). I get more red and flushed form all corn based foods unfortunately.
    Best wishes
