    Default Fungal infection?

    Hi guys,

I was hoping someone could take a look at the attached pic and let me know what they think it might be?

I'm a wrestler and i spend a lot of time on the mats, so I'm conscious of skin conditions like ring worm and staph, but this doesnt look like either of em. I woke up yesterday morning and my skin was clear, went to training and after having a shower, i noticed i have these red scaly marks on all parts of my body, chest, legs, back, arms, etc.

I'm booked in to see a Derm in a couple of weeks time but i'm afraid the condition might have cleared up before then.

I went to a general practitioner yesterday and he said it might be scabies, but it's not itchy and I dont think it is.

Any ideas what it could be?

    Thanks,

    Tim

Some kind of localized microbial infiltration. If you just leave it alone, it will scab and fall off by itself. Maybe a couple of weeks. You should only be concerned if it spreads persistently.
