Default Soaps are harsh on SD

I probably should of asked this question a while ago since this has been a problem for a long time, but how do you fellow seborrhea sufferers wash your face? Because at least for me I can never wash my face, if I do it makes my skin VERY dry and uncomfortable, yet I'm always hearing people say your supposed to wash your face to protect your skin from bacteria and stuff. So I was wondering if you guys are like me where you just don't wash your face so your sd wont dry up or if any of you have found some sort of soap/cleanser that doesn't dry up your seborrhea?

Right now I wash my face with Born to be mild and cold water once a day.
I havent used soap on my face for many years just beacause its so drying.
I think washing with just water is just as good as soap?

Thanks for telling me that, I'm glad I'm not the only one who never uses soap. Also I used to use born to be mild which helped some what with the inflammation but it still dried my skin out like crazy (just like any other soap.)

Soaps remove oil from your skin, so they will have a drying effect.

Yeah, a dry feeling and a oily feeling are both pretty bad, although I feel like even without soap I get the dry feeling it will just take longer for that to occur without soap. How do you cope? Btw didn't intentionally make a rhyme there with soap and cope I only noticed that I made a rhyme after I wrote this reply.

I cope with moisturizer applied twice a day. My face feels great but looks a little strange. That's fine, though, as long as it improves over time.
