I have an appointment at the end of September with Dr Chu.
I have tried various drugs in the past with no success. I have recently returned to Remeron as i have had a little success with this, not much but it helps to forget about the damn condition 24/7 therefore limitng the flushing to only once a day instead of 24/7 beet face. I tried remeron for 6 weeks at 15mg a few months ago, it worked OK but i was in a hazy daze for those 6 weeks and had to come off it.
Anyway im now taking 30mg, dont feel dizzy, dont feel tired, feel alright.
I'm still red in the face but im not thinking about it 24/7 and im sleeping better without worrying about putting my face on my pillow. Its wierd the way it worked. One day i was beet all day, then that night i took a remeron and the next day i wasnt so beet and thinking about it. Ive been on it 1 week, i hope the condition gets better with longetiviety of the drug.
Anyway, the remeron clearly isnt helping 100% therefore im going to see Dr Chu. I've heard great success on this board with Mepacrine and considering asking Dr Chu for it.
will he prescribe it happily? do i have to go back to my doctor once ive seen dr chu to get the drug?
im sick of seeing all my local doctors, they all think its in my head and want to send me to some therapy!! argh!!!
im trying to live a normal life for christ sake.
can i take remeron and Mepacrine at the same time?
cheers all.
