    Hi Christine,

I'm doing well. I stick to the diet and I have a note in my calendar to every month do a stretch of borax and ivermectin. Not going to let those ugly little bugs raise their ugly little heads again.

After all this time, I imagine there are still some dormant eggs left in areas that were most damaged. They must rise on some kind of creepy schedule, so I just try to head them off at the pass.

    So far that's been working.

Inflammation and stress go together, too, don't ya think? They go in a vicious circle, one engendering the other.

Your special demodex killer is the animal ointment, correct? I have that and all kinds of other things stored on my amazon wish list, so in case I need something new I have everything there to choose from.

I just got some glycolic acid 5% (Reviva labs) to see if that helps remove some of the old hardened bumps I have on one cheek. I thought I'd try all kinds of home methods before resorting to a derm, because derms never quite listen, do they. And suddenly you're out x amount of dollars, but still have a problem.

    Nice chatting with you.

I am another person struggling after a shower (i seem to be just behind you Allalone). I have had rosacea for about 9 weeks. Up until last week, i have noticed showers really affecting my face. I don't put my face under the water, but i just splash water over my face. I keep the shower luke warm and have short showers. But, 10 min after, even though i feel ok, i look in the mirror and i am red all over. I seem to be the worst after a shower.

I have followed diets etc. I usually shower twice a day, but because my face reacts so badly, I feel like cutting back to only nightly showers. But, i need to apply metrogel twice a day, so any washing of the face seems to make it flare up. My post shower flare wasn't this bad 2 or 3 weeks ago.
