hi , who is the best kind of doctor to see if you are interested in trying a type of anti flushing med, im in florida and doctors here never want to prescribe anything out of the ordinary !

Hi Melissa,
Try a pain management doctor, preferably one who is an anesthesiologist or a neurologist, preferably an autonomic neurologist. Both of those types of drs should understand the flushing mechanisms and work with you on meds. 3rd choice would be a rheumatologist and 4th a derm, but a very experienced derm, like one who does research.
