    Default TLR2 (Toll-Like Receptor 2) Expression...

I have been reading a lot about the role of TLR2 (Toll-Like Receptor 2)when it comes to Rosacea and found it very interesting. I read the following article from Gallo and his team.

    http://www.nature.com/jid/journal/v1...d2010351a.html

I then found the following study on UV light and TLR2 and feel it relates to me.

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21468605

So from the 2 articles I am wondering if we inhibit TLR2 expression if that would help our Rosacea a lot. And if so, what inhibits TLR2 expression?

    Hope to get everyones thoughts!

I found this too.. maybe why alcohol is a trigger for a lot of people..

"Alcohol upregulates TLR2 message and protein in the airway epithelium. This leads to exaggerated inflammation in response to environmental stimuli that would normally be well tolerated "

    Default TLR2 and insulin resistance

found this interesting as well.... the key might be to somehow mediate or reduce TLR2 expression....
