Default Endless confusion regarding facial sunscreen/sunblock

I'm in the UK and it is for some reason incredibly hard to find a natural, chemical sunscreen free facial sunblock/moisturiser. Time and time again I've been into stores and received blank looks from the people working there, or ordered expensive products online which listed only zinc oxide/titanium dioxide as the active ingredients yet when they arrive they also have octinoxate, octisalate or other chemical filters.

I've literally spent two years trying to find one but to no avail.. Please can someone help?

Also since there is so much conflicting evidence out there, is it categorically true physical sunblocks are safer than chemical ones?

the sunblock topic is a pain. different ones work btr for some than others. still trying to find the right one for me. ive used mychelle and it seemed to be good, but i sweat a lot in the heat and it kind gives a white hue, therefore still looking for a sheer one that doesnt make me shiny-good luck

    hey
im in the UK too and have tried sooo many sunscreens, avene, la roche, eucerin, oil of olay, dr nick lowes, ultrasun blah blah the list goes on. i finally ordered some tinted zinco online and its pretty great. it doesnt make me flare of clog up pores. the colour isnt a perfect match but its useful to cover a bit of redness and with a tiny bit of mineral powder over the top looks fine. you might want the untinted version instead though,. you can get it from rosacea care, i think it was about £25
    hope that helps
