So my four weeks of treatment every second day is over!

Face looks good! But my scalp, not so good. It gets dry very fast. Should I use cocnut oil there as well? Or use a special shampoo.

Oh no! Its back, and worse than before

I'm on vacation, so I cant do a three hour mask. Did the last one 5 days ago. Its blushing up like everywhere and hurts really bad.

    What to do?

Well, if you think the honey treatment helps, I would suggest you keep doing it as often as you can. Unfortunately SD never goes away, you just have to keep it under control

I put a small towel over my pillow at night and sleep in the honey mask. Also, use honey as a face wash as per Auburn's instructions.

    Thanks for your advice.

I've been using the honey wash twice every day, and coconut oil after. I will start honey mask every second day again, until its getting better.

Update: I bought honey at a bee-keeper (is it called that in English) last week an started a new treatment every second day. It got better after the first day! I cant believe this.. amazing.

So hmmm, I tried the honey coconut ting for SD and had big ass itchy pimples too, so I thought maybe I was allergic to something. So, you just cut the coconut and the pimples stopped?

Yes, to about half of what I first used. It feels much dryer, but I guess it should be like that. I mean, the first two weeks I was constantly having shiny/glossy skin, and that cant be right.

    Hello again!

One month later, and it's blushing up like crazy! I've been cleansing twice a day, doing a mask two times a week - but still! It's really bad this time

Big flakes all around the mouth, redness and very very itchy!

This must be stress related or something. I havent changed anything with my routines, diet or sleep! Just started to work again, after the summer vacation..

    Derix,

What do you mean by "cleansing"? Two times a day sounds WAY excessive! You need to STOP flushing your skin so much. Rely more on the coconut oil. It will NOT "cause" acne, nor will it "clog" your pores. Apply liberally at night and leave it on until the morning. Rinse GENTLY with cool water and pat dry GENTLY with a paper towel. Other than that, DO NOTHING. Also, it's my opinion that you should ditch the honey mask altogether. Simply slathering it on your face for three hours twice a week is doing virtually nothing to heal your skin. If you really want the full effect of the honey, you must leave it on longer and in a much more efficient configuration, like with gauze. Many individuals who suffer from chronic ulcers, for instance, use gauze impregnated with honey to great effect, but in order for it to work you must apply it virtually around the clock. That is why I say emphasize the coconut oil. It performs essentially the same functions as the honey but it is far easier to apply.
