low stomach acid and antihistamine H2
Wouldn't it be a problem to take antihistamine H2 if one already has low stomach acid? Because as far as I have understood, antihistamine H2 works by blocking stomach acidity. If I have low stomach acid and allergies because of that, I don't see that an antihistamine that blocks stomach acid can help. Maybe it will block the release of the histamine but it will also decrease the stomach acidity even more and therefore will add to initial problem. Or there is something I don't get. Could someone enlighten me about that?
