Default Red/flushed on one cheek, cool in the other?

Anyone else experience this? In my years of having this condition, only now has my rosacea done this! My right cheek will be red/hot and my left cool. Or I will have a flush, but my right cheek will be much much redder/hotter. I can't explain it - i started a new cream but the first time this happened was BEFORE the new cream (i tend to test out creams on my right cheek - it breaks out less so i can tell the difference if the cream is making my rosacea worse).

I'm so worried that this will be my "new rosacea" - and that i'm stuck with it. I'm so frustrated and upset. I don't want this to be like this. Especially if one cheek is cool from being nice and cool inside yet the other is redder/hot! WTF!

I teach yoga. It is known through the eastern philosophy that the right side is hotter than the left.
Poetically referred to as the Sun side, the Left being the moon side.

Yes, I experience this. Sometimes I'm flushed only on the left, sometimes only on the right. Which is more likely to be affected varies over time. I think it's fairly common for flushing to be unilateral or asymmetric. I don't know what causes it.

What's weird is 5 years that I've been flushing and not until 2 weeks ago this started happening. Also for the past week it's been every day flushed more on the right side... Makes me worry that this is it, im stuck

Yes for me sometimes it's the side that's more exposed to light or heat. Other times there's no apparent explanation.

My left side is redder and heats up much faster than the right side. Tha's also the side where the rosacea first started. Maybe because more exposed to sunlight when driving.

Hmmm, my left cheek is always hotter and more flushed than the right one actually... Not sure the theory works for everyone therefore...

I have the same thing, I found out that the side I sleep on (I make sure my cheek doesn't fully touch the pillow, I try to sleep on my ear and outer jaw/cheek if possible)
is the one less red and the one that is turned upwards is most red (stays like that most of the day). When I change sides, the flushing shifts to the other cheek. I always thought the cheek you sleep on would be more prone to flushing because of pressure etc. But for me, maybe the blood goes 'down' in the upwards cheek. Well, weird story, never mind, but I just wondered if yours might be related to the same thing?
Maybe check it out by changing sleeping positions? And indeed, the cheek that is exposed to sun light, also in the car for instance, can be more flushed because of that. The car window will still let UVB light penetrate and that can still cause inflammation.

Hope you can pin point if there is a special reason for this!

    Good luck, Natalja
