    Default Day 110

Brady Barrows - "They finally found a way to easily get a demodex density count" - Tell me, is this available worldwide?

    DAY 110:

The looks of my skin is wee better today, than yesterday.

Although the redness on my temples and cheeks have somewhat returned,
I am mainly focusing on the texture (cheeks and nose) and blackheads on nose.
By the way, the texture on my temples is just fine, no correction needed here.

The redness might need some further measure, but for me the texture is what
I must correct (and blackheads of course), in order to get my life back on it's old tracks, once again... and, in order to do so I will have to keep up my valiant grandeur and enthusiasm of reaching that level of contentedness.

Tell me, is there any product out there on the market, for thinning out facial skin (even out the texture/or even minimizing the pores)?

    Default Day 111

My skin has healed slightly more since the past few days, little by little I'm getting there.

I plan on buying: tea tree oil (add to the water when steaming face, and mix when washing pillow covers) pore cleansing strips, pore cleansing brush, facial cleaning brush, and just maybe take a trip to a dermatologist, to get a facial (or some such), in order to squeeze out most of my blackheads (if possible) and ultimately keep it that way.

Not really sure anymore whether the redness on my cheeks are of the Demodex's work (but the texture definitely is, and I am ONLY referring to the cheeks here, mind you, and not my nose, where both the redness and texture likely is of the Demodex Mites), it could also be partially sunburn, hence ofttimes in the past I used to be VERY reckless (on a regular basis) with applying a potent amount of sunscreen (the factor was also WAY TOO LOW) whenever I went outside... yet, the truth remains difficult to ascertain. I am just hoping for my nose to heal nicely + correct the texture of my cheeks.

I imagine if you have enough money it is available but obviously since this is so new it will take take before this is in your dermatologist's office. David Pascoe found a photo of the device. The best part about all this is recognition that taking demodex density counts might be considered by dermatologists in the future. In the past demodex has been dismissed as a 'minor player in rosacea.' If in the future we get some data from say 10,000 rosacea patients with demodex density counts this may help establish the percentage of demodectic rosacea cases among the total cases.

    Default Day 112

    Doing well enough, I'd say.

For each passing day, my nose heals more and more (nota bene: in fact, 4 months past, I remember filming my nose closeup in 1080p HD for approximately 30 seconds or so. This I can use as a comparison model, once the treatment has reached its "daily application" end).

A means to an end, sanguinely...

    Default Day 113

Blackheads on nose have increased, and a few pimples surfaced, cheek-region.

On application, no longer does my skin utter any sort of drastic reaction (alteration in redness or texture), close to non.

I do not wish to keep treating my skin with this ointment for an eternity, so if I were to change (maybe in 4-6 months, or so) to "Tea tree oil", would that have the same effect, if Demodex Mites solely were my issue?

Nothing much has happened since yesterday, so I'll leave it at that.

By the way, my skin seems to react to anything else than the products
of which I am currently on.

    Default Day 117

My cheeks have recently both been breaking out in one large pimple, which at most times, is gone the day after (strange thing that...).

I still have a little over 2 jars left, which practically should buy me some more months.

The redness on my nose has just about fully healed up, even including the sides, which I quite frankly thought was an undoable act.

Redness remains on most parts of cheeks, though this would not bother me much, as long as the texture restores itself to a 100%.

    Default Day 118

Nothing major since yesterday, except for that the redness is once again starting to fade away (fades, and then comes back, but comes back in a little more slight degree).

The itchy feeling is now completely gone, haven't felt it in weeks.
