Larsen - No, I have not changed my diet "during the process", though 5-6 back (roughly) I ceased eating all animal-derived foodstuff (not sure whether this had any affect at all on my skin, but that is not ventured into doing so either).

For now, I avoid the following: potato chips, any kind of chocolate (obviously), not too heavy on the consumption of "milk" (though I drink rice- mostly, and soy-milk some), soy-sauce, cashew-nuts, as all of the following seemed to have an effect, to some degree. Just try staying away from all the greasy/oily stuff.
Once in a while I grab a bag of Pistachios, but other than that, not much.

    Default Day 125

All of the redness on my nose, has now faded. One never knows... it just might come back once again (I am very content in regards of my nose's progress). All that remains (still referring to my nose) are the numerous stubborn blackheads, pretty much concentrated evenly on my whole nose.

A little redness on cheeks won't kill me, as long as the texture improves even more by appr. 20%, then will be content with the outcome, and call it at that.

Default Magnesium Gel in killing the demodex mite

I just want to share (and hopefully you will do the same about) a new discovery I made for killing demodex mites. Magnesium gel (by Ancient Minerals) kills the heck out of the demodex mites when applied topically. I have been using it for 3 days on my face and I notice the redness where the mites are (within the skin) is beginning to subside (so far about 40-50%). Tea tree oil works really well but dries the skin and causes the entire house to smell. Sea Buckthorn SEED oil (by Sibu) works as well but at a much slower rate.

Wouldn't say I'm proof positive, but the blackheads on my nose seems to induce redness, in some manner. Sorta like inflamed blackheads, so to speak...

    Acne has increased a little.

    - Redness have improved some.
    - Seeing no progress in regards of the blackheads on my nose.
    - Texture is getting slightly more even by the day.

I'd estimate my texture (t-zone, except for forehead) to reach its ultimate, in a matter of 1-3 months, or so.

I've just picked up my jar of ZZ Creme.

I'm quite hesitant to begin applying it because my skin isn't a total nightmare right now and Finacea seems to work okay.

Gabranth, did your skin texture in any way look like this?

    Default Day 128

Larsen - My skin too was a NIGHTMARE before I ventured towards the ZZ Ointment, BELIEVE YOU ME.
Yes, in fact my skin texture looked VERY MUCH like yours.
I can almost guarantee you, that if the demodex mites is the the culprit in your case, then your texture will improve for the better (by a great deal), just like mine did (and still does). You must NOT GIVE UP, or all your efforts will be in vain. I had to wait about 100 days, before the crawling sensation ceased, the texture improved by 60% or so, redness faded by 30-45% overall, and so on.
The skin on your cheeks especially, looks thick and uneven, with large pores and plausibly produces too much sebum (I was diagnosed with an overproduction of sebum, by a top-notch doctor, mind you), which is an ideal basis for the mites to thrive on (so did mine). After approximately 100 days of application I saw a TREMENDOUS improvement regarding the texture on both my nose and cheeks.

I'd recommend purchasing this facial cleanser as well: http://www.demodexsolutions.com/VPAS...pexd.asp?id=38 - as it aided me better than anything, well except for the ZZ Ointment, that is. On the other hand, I would NOT recommend this one (it was WAY TOO HARSH FOR ME): http://www.demodexsolutions.com/VPAS...pexd.asp?id=35

    Godspeed.

    DAY 128:

Changes remain quite static, with the exception of slight decrease in redness on a weekly basis.

My nose tend to (not all the time, appr. 2 times a week) break out in slight redness, as it did today.

    Texture keeps improving.
