Default High Cortisol Levels and Flushing

Hey guys, recently back from the doctors after some tests to find i have high cortisol levels. Was wondering if anybody knows if theres a link between this and facial flushing?

As cortisol levels are linked to stress and anxiety factors it would be really interesting to see if anybody had similar experiences or information? If so, how did you solve this?

Any comments are greatly appreciated, thanks

Yes there is a link. High cortisol = Cushing's syndrome/disease. It gives the "moon face" which is a rounded reddish complexion. Glad you could find a source for your flushing, good luck with your treatment.

I did read about Cushing Syndrome, but i dont believe i have it. They werent alarmingly high, nothing the doctor was worried about. But i did wonder if it could be linked to flushing.

'Moon face' is also swelling of the face. I dont have swelling, just dilated blood vessels in my cheeks alone. Also, no other side effects related to the disease except from possibly a bit of anxiety, due to the flushing.

Thanks for your comment, ill keep it in the back of my mind.
