    Default Zinc oxide / sulfur

    Hello,

I was wondering what you think about a Zinc oxide / sulfur cream. Would it be good for rosacea? I have an easily irritated skin, so no pastules or whatever. I actually have a very smooth skin. We all know zinc oxide and sulfur are very good against infections but I was wondering if anyone has every tried the combination? I read many positive things about it online. I think I'm going to ask the pharmacist tomorrow to make a preparation with those 2 ingredients.

zinc oxide and some forms of sulfur are good. But not in all cases. The zinc is soothing, so that's good. Sulfur is often Rx-ed (in the form of Klaron lotion, for example) by derms. It didn't work so well for me.

If you go through my posts through April you'll find what I am doing that is working for me. I had very sensitive skin. But it was sensitive from its reaction to mites. As I'm getting rid of those my skin is becoming more normal.

Hmm I think I'll go for regular zinc cream then. Better safe than sorry.
I read that Borax is used for laundry? And you put that on your face? I don't know what it's called in Europe though.
