    Default Problems from Work Atmosphere

    WORK PLACE ATMOSPHERE
Has anyone been through a Grievance or Tribunal over their conditions at work?

Hello all, have any of you had problems at work? I was in a room where I could control the temperature with only 3 computer and one small photocopier. The company have moved me into a room with blowheaters, lots of computers and loads of heavy duty photocopiers all giving put hot dry air. Nightmare, my face and eyes are so ooooooo sore, burning and tight feeling, keeps me awake at night and I get tiny spaeck s of blood on my face where the vessels have burst.
I cannot get staff to leave the aircon on and the company do not want to make things any different.
Any views or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi there

Is there any chance you might speak with your direct manager and explain why it is important for the aircon to be set on and to the temp it was in your last work room (or cooler if necc)? Once they know about the Rosacea perhaps they might be more understanding and do their best to help.

If there is no assistance going this route I would say keep a look out for a new job; I know I wouldn't want to work somewhere that didn't care about my health and work environment being satisfactory for all people in the room, including myself.

    Best, Shantelle

It maybe depends upon where you live. If you live in the UK you have rights under the health and safety at work act.
Though from studying the health and safety they have like for like regulations in Canada and America.

These laws are to protect the employee but actually getting to the point of justice can be a long and stressfull process.
The bottom line is from my experience employers who ignore rightfull requests could not care less about their workers.
I have been through this situation and its best to leave and find another job elsewhere while you still are reasonably healthy rather than stay and lose your health, because its easy to find a job now but if you lose your sight what then !

If you stay and complain some coworkers can jump at the chance to pick on you and make your life a misery maybe to the point of bullying and if you stay it will damage you mentally and thats what can happen, then you have to live with that forever.

I've worked at two companies where I had to explain my condition and request special treatment (no public speaking, remove florescent bulbs from above cubicle, etc.). One was very accomodating, one wasn't. If yours isn't, look for a new employer. Easier said than done, I know.

    1,000 IU D3
    50mg zinc
    50mg magnesium chelate
    25mg diphenhydramine HCI
    Psyllium fiber
    Pure Protein bar
Drink filtered/bottled water only, wash with tepid water/moisturizing soap, filtered shower head, Rosacea Care moisturizer, tinted ZincO
I avoid multi-vitamins and most other high-dose vitamins and supplements, oil-based supplements (like omega 3/6, A, and E), nitrite preservatives, probiotics, sugar, fruit, alcohol, caffeine, exercising in a warm room

    Less is more!
