Default Can rosacea effect the lips/mucous membrane?

My lips burn very bad and it also burns above and below my lips. I can see very faint but visible capillaries around my mouth, it almost looks like lipliner. The only other place my face burns is on my left cheek where I have several groups of telangiectasia. Does anyone else have burning on the mucous membrane skin?

My lips get red and irritated (burning mainly) when my rosacea flares up, when I don't take beta-blockers, and when I eat spicy foods, so I would say yes.

The burning around the mouth almost sounds like a allergic reaction. Obviously burning and tingling are associated with rosacea but not really heard it mentioned to do with the mouth all that much. HAve yo ever tried taking antihistamines? been tested for allergies?
