    Default Updates?

Any noticeable update? I've bought the DAOsin supplement (same as Histame) and I would love to know how much time did it take you to start feeling any change (if any). I have another allergy, though very similar (Cholinergic Urticaria), I'm not very possitive with this drug but if it can release it a little then it would be enough. Thanks for any response!

    Hi
I noticed a difference a day after taking Histame. I gave it up because of the cost. Now I am taking an antihistamine and a "Tagamet" twice per day, morning and evening. They both help the facial swelling and flushing but I still have to watch my diet.

I think that I am in the subgroup with a genetic predisposition because rosacea seems to run in my family. My maternal grandfather and two maternal uncles (whom I resemble) all have the same flushing pattern and rosacea symptoms that I do. Other people who react to Histamine may have a gastrointestinal disease which is impairing their DAO.

Thanks for the link. I have severe and numerous food, environmental, and contact allergies and I notice immediately after eating certain foods or being exposed to certain elements like dust that I flush big time and get either pimples, rashes, etc immediately..
Facial and Scalp SD & Rosacea. Please never use Steroid Cream on face! Now using Grapeseed Oil on face and scalp, high in linoleic acid. Warning - this oil goes bad quickly, so keep it cold and replace often. Gentle cleanse morning and night then apply thin layer of oil. Stopped Jojoba, too waxy, clogs pores, irritating, very low in linoleic acid - the good kind.

You may well have a histamine allergy (as opposed to an intolerance) due to the fact that you react so suddenly. Are you able to determine exactly what it is you eat that causes the flush and rash?

I monitor my daughter's diet very carefully and today she tried some Gouda cheese. I know this can trigger an inflammatory response but I read somewhere that if it is 'young Gouda' and not the old, mature stuff, it might be OK.

Well it wasn't. Her face flared almost immediately.
