    Default Cabbage??????????CABBAGE JUICE?????

Any thoughts onit? I bought the banish rosacea book, heck if you say you have the cure Im buying it. I figure I could accidently stumble on whatever may work for me one day in this ongoing struggling quest for normalcy.

One thing it says at the very end is....if all this stuff doesnt work, then try cabbage juice. Apparently worked wonders for an aquiantance of the author so I will buy some today and try drinking that for a while, but I wondered if any already has tried this and if they had success.

I guess it isnt the cure or it would be all over these boards huh?

    You got it!

Cabbage and related foods can cause a lot of problems for some people. I can't touch brussel sprouts or coleslaw.

    Default Cabbage

    Hi
I once went on something called the "cabbage soup diet" and it did wonders for my rosacea. I could never figure out what had helped, now I wonder if it was the cabbage. If you hate the idea of cabbage juice you might want to try making cabbage soup. I might try it again now that you mention it.

What kind of things were you eating before you tried this, if I may ask? It could have simply been the fact you were eating something healthier. But two things are for sure: going a long time just living off of cabbage is not healthy and if it were the cure you'd see it in scientific literature instead of a rather obscure book.

    Default Cabbage soup

    Hello
Not saying it's a cure, just adding to the conversation since she asked about it. I would never suggest that someone just eat cabbage. The diet is really radical and is only designed to be followed for seven days. The first day you eat only fruit and cabbage soup, the next day vegetables and cabbage soup, etc. By the fourth day or so I looked in the mirror and was like "wow-my skin looks good." I just thought if I added some cabbage soup to my normal diet it may help. My rosacea is primarily related to my digestion, but a lot of people have a different experience. Just wanted to add it since the original poster asked about cabbage specifically.

Well, I certainly don't oppose adding cabbage soup to an already healthy diet. If it worked for you then great! I was just making sure that no one here was starving themselves by sticking to nothing but cabbage in the hopes of it curing rosacea.

Do you still have the recipe?? I'd like to try making this soup, not to live off of by any means but just to incorporate into my diet. Thanks.
