    Default Wierd dry skin.................?

I have had for this week sore, red itchy upper eyelids, and in the corners. I have stopped using products of any kind to let this settle as I had thought I had Ocular rosacea. Today as per usual I wake up my eyes are red like I have been crying. They are not itchy any more or just as red.

My problem is that all around my eyes upper and lower lids and all the corners under the lashes is what appears to be dry like skin. Its hard to describe its skin that feels rough like a scab. I can see tiny particales of skin flaking off and the skin is slightly more wrinkled than normal. (Im gonna look like an 80 yr old beofre my time )

I have no idea what this is could it be Ocular or perhaps sebderm or even a reaction to dirty cosmetics brushes or a reaction to some products?

Hoping that if I continue to leave it alone it will go away. Just sad that another area me that was perfectly fine has been affected. Bit by bit Im falling apart ..............get the violins out!

    Id apreciate any comments?

    Ally,

I don't remember if you have tried lid scrubs. It sounds as if maybe your lids are being clogged by bacteria which can cause flaking and swelling and redness. If you have not tried it already I would suggest getting Ocusoft or Theralid lid scrubs and cleansing your lid margins twice a day.

Have you read the article that Lavender Va posted on ocular rosacea and ant bleph and post bleph? It is a sticky in the ocular rosacea section. A must read. Also, have you seen an eye doctor for a diagnosis? I would recommend that as well for a definitive diagnosis.

    Best wishes,
    Melissa

PS I would d/c any eyemakeup etc for a while. And when you resume get all new stuff.
