    Default Dramatic negative change.

This pic is with rosacea on a good day. A very good day because you can't even see it. You'd never think I had it.

But this is a bad day no make up, stinging, burning...

And I thought THAT was bad, until I got like this these past few days...

How can I go from the first picture to THAT??? I don't even feel like the same person anymore. I haven't been at work these past few days because the stinging is so intense and I don't wanna cover it with any make up.

The only changes I've had could have made it transform so fast are green tea (about 3-4 cups a day which I've had for 3 days) and flax seed oil (which I've had for about a week) but why would they do that?? I'd say it'd been feeling stingy for about 5 days but the past 2 days have been the worst.

I'm on antibiotics that I was given yesterday but I only just started taking those last night, so it's not them.

I've changed my cleanser and moisteriser back to what I was using originally BEFORE it got this bad. Before that I was using Zenmed. Maybe that's what ******* it up?? I read a lot of postive things about their stuff, before I came here and then saw how a lot of people didn't get along with it.

This is the most confusing thing ever. My confidence has gone down to zero. I hate even having the curtains open! It's insane. And to think it's not even as bad as some people get it! I have so much admiration and respect for you guys!

I'm thinkin its the green tea which i didnt start drinkin until saturday, but green tea is supposed to be a positive thing. Why would it cause this?

Before the green tea, it burnt a lot, but has only been really stinging for the past few days and looking really raw.

    Very confused! And paranoid!

    Rag Doll,

Sorry I do not know your history, has your derm diagnosed early stage rosacea ?

To me, your forehead looks more like an allergic reaction.

Your cheeks, yes MAYBE very early stage rosacea, but easily treatable if you keep on top of it and remember to always wear sunscreen

    Heyy,

Well, I don't even have a dermatologist yet. The doctor refused me to see one until I finish a 3 month course of antibiotics (which I just started yesterday) The doctor however did say that I had rosacea. At first I didn't think it was, but now I see that I fit way too many of the symptoms for it not to be. Before that, I tried the gel but it made my face burn, so I stopped using it, that's when he said, "Ok, we'll try the antibiotics."

Yeah, my forehead has felt pretty bumpy latetly. Better today, but that was yesterday and it was awful! I haven't got a clue what it is! It even went kinda purply as you can see

Can you rule out an allergic reaction from the antibiotics ? if not a trip back to the doc might not be a bad idea.

I really doubt it's that. It went like that before I started taking them, and it's calmed down a lot today. I still have a lot of stinging on my cheeks though.

It still looks like an allergic reaction to me, the right move might be to just wash your face with water for a couple days ( no cleansers etc ) then you can judge whether some ingredient in your product may be the cause.

Firstly I would like to point out that you look really beautiful .

Secondly it does appear to have a close resemblence to seb derm, which is known to make its appearance on the forehead. What moisturiser/cleanser are you using?

I guess it will be worth waiting a few days to see if the antibiotics do their thing.

Have you tried taking some antihistamines? They can help with any stinging and may calm the redness slightly.

The green tea I would imagine is a coincidence. I do however prefer white tea.

This is what it's like today.....

Do you still think it's an allergic reaction??

Thanks by the way! I don't mean to sound demanding or rude

    Awww, thank you.

At the moment I'm using Simple's products since they're for really sensative skin and don't contain alcohol or perfume.

Yeah, I'm going to let the antibiotics kick in before I think about changing cleansers unless someone can suggest some kind of miracle cure??

I prefer white tea too actually lol, but I like the benifits of green tea. That's if it isn't that thats messing me up!
