I have tried many combos for my frizzy thinning hair and dandruff, but I was wondering what shampoo/conditioner routines you guys have tried that have worked without aggravating your rosacea?

I use a ciclopiroxolamine (antifungal) shampoo called Stieprox (Loprox in some countries). I use it 2x/week but did use it daily initially for a few weeks and slowly tapered back as my seb derm improved. On my "of days" I use a shampoo called Cliniderm which is made by Neostrata. It is dye, preservative, fragrance and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) free. This made a huge difference as using any dandruff shampoo IMO is irritating to the skin as they all contain SLS, a known irritant (but good cleaner) and you have to leave it on for a t least 5 minutes to get any real benefit.
Antihistamines every now and then help as well because even when not flaking my scalp can itch and scratching it can cause some fine powdery flaking.

You are supposed to leave dandruff shampoo on for 5 minutes before rinsing out?
And do this daily?
How about conditioners for the frizziness?
Yes you have to leave the shampoo on your scalp for at least 4-5 minutes. It doesn't need to be just one application though. I actually use 2 applications (2 1/2 minutes each, approx). I only used the shampoo daily for a short period to get the condition under control. I don't think daily use is recommended as it can be pretty harsh on your hair/scalp.
As for frizziness I plead the 5th, my hair has always been flat, I have epic "hat head" despite not wearing a hat.

you can try apple cider vinegar mixed with head and shoulders and diluted with water which is the best thing for dandruff and seb derm.
I have posted my mixture in this post:
