Default weird rosacea or classic seb derm - HELP

hey guys im kinda new here and just wondering what you guys think about what i got going on - really i could care less about the acne and red marks (which I know the pic is crappy and you can hardly see that sort stuff) that i have on the cheeks and forehead but im really concerned about the area from say the corner of my lips up to my eyes and all the stuff in between - to me it looks like seb derm a bit b/c of the tone and greasiness and whatnot but im not sure
    - plus b/c ive had v-beam treatments and they do really well for the redness at the time and any spots on my cheeks and whatnot but then the crap in the centre of my face comes back !!! lol - lemme know what you guys think
ps. sorry for the pic and how small/crappy it is but i had to make it that small to get it to attach

Well first and foremost I must say you are quite a looker

Secondly, although the picture is small, IMHO it does look like seb derm. Bizarrely my partner has exactly the same demarcation lines as you. I also get seb derm in this area and for me it is rough texture accompanied by greasy, red skin.

Seb derm is an ongoing issue for many and as you say even if you can improve the rosacea the seb derm brings its own redness and flushing.

PS sorry forgot to reply to your PM will do it in a minute.

thanks for the compliment and blah what a bad picture to say that too lol

what does your husband do? To be honest I've never tried any type of anti-fungal meds/creams or what not. I use Nizoral once a week on my hair and it totally takes care of my dandruff/flakes on the scalp but i've tried Nizoral and head and shoulders to cleanse my face and i cant even tell if it does anything b/c ANY cleansers (ie. even cetaphil and spectro jel - so in other words i just use water therefore can't get the excess oil off that part of my face which prolly makes it worse!!!!!) irritates my face so even if those help with the seb derm i just get red b/c of irritation now ... terrible cycle.

Has anyone had any luck with anti-fungals either topical or oral?

You can check the similar and co-existing forum for some info on seb derm treatments. Seb. Derm. can be a persistent nasty little problem. Personally, so far the only thing I have found that works is some 1% hydrocortisone lotion. I have tried all of the anti-fungals including oral (both itraconazole and ketoconazole) and they did squat for me. The topicals were among the most irritating I have used since being diagnosed with Rosacea/Seb Derm.
