    Default Oracea?

I've been getting some eye tenderness recently. I've been on Oracea for two weeks, and was wondering, just in case I ever do experience Ocular Rosacea down the rode, if Oracea would be a good antibiotic to counter that. I know it's mostly anti-inflammatory... Would it still would as well as other antibiotics? Thanks.

    Default Occular rosacea

Lauren: I am new to this board. I have occular rosacea and was recently put on Oracea. Still too early to determine if it is working, but from what I have read Oracea should be helpful. It better be. Man, it is expensive. Oh well anything for better health.

    Hey guys,

Oracea has a rebate card where you get $35 off each prescription for now. Just google Oracea and get it from their website.

    Best wishes,
    Melissa

That's good. I've been getting more visible capillaries in my eyelids. There was an eyelash on my eyelid this morning, so I gently "pinched" it off. Afterward, there was a red spot with visible capillaries all around it. The red spot has faded, but the capillaries in my eyes and eyelids are more visible and much more sensitive.

Is there anything that would work faster than Oracea? Would taking Oracea twice a day help speed up the process?

I wouldn't recommend taking it twice a day because then it becomes antibacterial and there are side effects that can occur with that. What makes Oracea good is that it is anti-inflammatory without the antibiotic side effects. Be patient and hopefully it will help you.
