Dr Weil and some others say it is pretty much a vegan diet (although saying that, I think fish is ok). BUT other diet experts say it's the weclusion of processed foods, sugar and red meat. I understand the theory of avoiding foods that are precusors (sp?!) to arachidonic acid- but I'm confused, I think white meats such as turkey are precursors to this?
Also, is granary bread to be avoided, it sounds stupid but surely the crust is borwn (and there is sugar and protein- together making advanced glycated end-products_- I have no idea, really what I'm going on about but am very confused by it all- can someone with a brain bigger than mine (anyone!) fill me in
