Hi KC,
One fellow is using a small, low MCD unit for Blepharitis. His GP is so impressed by the results he recommends this modality to patients now.
My next door neighbour has MS and severe back problems. She is using the DPL unit (!) and is able to move about after months of being bed-bound and in a wheel chair. She went camping last week.![]()
Another fellow is using the Warp 10 for mobility in 3 fingers that were broken years ago. He marvels that within 2 minutes he has as much improvement as hours of physio gives him.
Another lady had nerve damage when she had hip replacement surgery (not an uncommon complication unfortunately). She uses a small 660/880nm high MCD on her heel and feels that it has accelerated her movement gains and makes her foot feel much better.
My husband uses an all 880nm unit (custom) for lower back pain. He has an old injury and gets bent (really -- sideways) for weeks on end when the muscle seizes. This has been an affliction that has been affecting him on and off for years. Now he does two nights with the array and it is completely relieved.
I use it on my atypical facial neuralgia (diagnosed as bilateral Trigeminal Neuralgia). Nothing had ever given me relief and the anticonvulsives only impaired me. The Warp 10 has released me from the grips of this particularly horrible condition -- which created more impairment to my day to day life than rosacea did.
I am a huge proponent of LLLT -- it really is remarkable.
Kind regards,
Corinna
I read about someone thinking RLT had increased their flushing. Have there been many of these cases?
Thanks.
I experienced an increase in flush during the treatment when I first started, something that has been commented on a bit. It passes by after a few sessions. Regardless of the flush, it heals the damage. And flushing becomes reduced, etc. I can't speak for the ones who experienced the flush and quit.
I too was curious about the RLT and so for the holidays I asked for one to see if it's really useful since going to an actual clinic to get it done is expensive!
I got the ANSR Beam which has both blue and red led lights, so if you also have some acne problems like plus the facial redness due to lovely rosacea i would look into a red and
blue combo light .
Here is the breakdown about the product:
cost $110 (remember the actual treatments at an office are a lot more)
2 settings that are pre-timed at 5 min intervals (which it automatically switches between the two if you want to use both, if not you just click the button till you get the red beam)
It's both hand held and rechargeable (it holds a charge for several uses)
I have only been using it for a month and while the redness has reduced I will have to update you all on the overall effect after I've been using it longer (red beam).
The blue beam though has really helped me with my cystic pimples which usually take forever to go away. Now they don't even get to the stage where they are huge and painfu.l
Hope this helps!!
Again I will report back soon since some things take longer than a month to actually take full effect.
