In a previous post I wondered about good, irritant-free face wipes. I did some research and it seems many people use baby wipes, since they are generally gentle and often fragrence-free. Unfortunately the only specific recommendations I saw were for non-US brands. So I nosed around and found these:
Seventh Generation Unscented Baby Wipes with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E
Ingredients: Water, Aloe Vera, Glycerin (vegetable oil derived), Alkyl Polyglycoside (a corn-based surfactant), Citric Acid (for stability), Vitamin E, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate
Thats about the fewest ingredients I could find, and most of 'em seem ok. I am however a little worried about the citric acid and the last very long-named sodium item (although it appears to be a pretty standard conditioning agent and preservative, at least according to Paula's Ingedients Dictionary). Has anyone tried this? Thanks.
