Default Super forum to begin Oct-Dec 2006

    Announcement From Geoffrey Nase's website:

Rosacea Research and Treatment Forum Update -- Slated for Opening in October-December 2006:
The continued interest in a New Forum that combines Science, Medicine and Friendly banter in a very novel setting has brought the Forum to fruition. Thousands of rosacea sufferers are already signed up for notification and dozens of requests continue on a daily basis. Rosacea Sufferers want more. The message is very clear. That is our goal. We should be up and running in October or December 2006. See ya there!

    We shall see....

No point in having a go at Dr.Nase before you have even seen if the forum will be up or not. Having said that, I can't really see why a new forum should make all the difference regarding finding a cure for rosacea.

    Hello Chris

It's not so much as people having a go at Nase but more them getting peeved off by the ridiculous numbers that he always quotes for his own benefit and propaganda. I learnt a long time that he always adds a few noughts to the end of any quantities he publishes so as to make it all look much better. An example was what he wrote to me in January this year.

"You know when you were cursing at me months ago over PMs and I was posting about the light bulbs and cow urine I received the most emals ever -- going from approxzimately 340 emails per day to over 700 stating that was the funniest way to put you in there place and they laughed until they almost keeled over."

    Or:

"I also have saved up over 100 emails now where rosacea sufferers have been hurt by your LED systems"

    Or:

"I have just popped over the 7,000 mark for my new forum which you think only has 150. Boy will you be surprised. BTW, I dont even have to open up a forum because my Rosacea Consulting Specialist LLC is amazing. I have at least 4 cases a day now at a Medical PhD pay scale level."

See what I mean - total nonsense, but that's how he operates and some people unfortunately still get sucked in. I just hope that the few that have joined will be able to get their money back if it never happens. You are right though as it will make no difference to finding a cure for rosacea but I know what he hopes it will do!

    Regards

    Peter

I did not see any place where we had to pay to join the forum - did I miss something?

I also had not heard the news that Peter reported that his Consulting business was so successful - has anyone here consulted with Geoffrey Nase?

    Hi Millie,

At the risk of stirring things up, this is what we know of Nase:

It's a bit of a hop-scotch to get all the details but they're in there and it's all pretty disheartening.

    Happiness is a choice.

I have really come to the point when I feel there´s no use in discussing Nase cause most people know about all the weird stuff hes been up to, but at the same time I feel sorry for all the newbies out there who he might exploit for his own financial benefit.
