demodex and rosacea

Is demodex or isnt demodex associated with rosacea, man this is a flipping flopping subject. Well this was on the nase site, so I hope it will help, although the ingredients look like they have been around travelling the boards for a while. I wish we could get a deffinitive answer about the little mites, it would sure help.....enjoy the read

From what I've read on the various support groups and forums, it would seem that for some, demodex mites make rosacea symptoms worse which is why for some the topical or oral products to kill off the little beaties make a difference, but not for others.

I think when Dr Nase stated on the RS group that while he had always said demodex did not play a part and now from some studies had to admit they might exacerbate symptoms that he listed some of those symptoms most likely to be associated with the mites, but I can't remember them now. I know various members tried invermectin at the time and for some good results, others (what's new) nada.
