Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative face wash with the same ingredients? Rosanil was great for my face and had no smell of sulfur or masking smell. I am hoping to find something that doesn't stink of sulfure or a maskign fragrance.

Is this just another new symptom of rosacea?

Ok, i just thought i would just add a post which is a little lighter than normal. For those of us single rosaceans, dating or being in a new relationship is a tough gig. I know rosacea has affected or made dating basically non-existent. For those of you who got rosacea whilst married, count yourselves lucky yes:

For us singles who don't date that often, at least we can try to have a smile and perhaps a laugh. Married people can read on as interested observers.

I have come up with a list of new websites for us single rosaceans. All for the sake of a bit of fun and to put a smile on our faces. I know i need to smile a bit more. Here is my new list of sites:

datearosacean
blemishmatchmaker
roseycheeks4me

myredface
Iflush4u
burning4u
umakemeburn
subtypematchmaker
luvhurtslikemyface
iamsensitive4u
beredwithme
umakemyfacehot
dermluv
papuluv
luvmyred
rosaceadate
iampale4u
umakemebreakout

For the romantics:
iwant2blushwithu blush:
urmytrigger ohmy:

If you find any other sites to add, please feel free.

Just wondering what you some of you think I might have? My nose and upper cheeks underneath my eyes are red and it varies day to day it doesn't burn or itch. I do have some light dandruff but nothing major if I shampoo daily it really isn't a problem. Lately though it looks like there is the the shape of a V from my eyebrows to my scalp though its hard to notice and usually really visible when I get out of the shower. I've never been to a derm and I'm 29 now. I have had the redness on my cheeks since I was maybe 18 or 19. It hasn't affected me that much through my life, I do live in Florida and since I'm always in the sun it just looks like a sunburn all the time I guess. I recently got laid off from my job so I am stressing alittle more than normal and I have got alittle more free time on my hands so I have been looking up ways to reduce the redness. I have read on here about honey masks and coconut oil and some other home remedies. If anyone has any ideas what they might think I have or if there is a way I can reduce the redness feel free to share. If not oh well.....grin:

CLS001 (omiganan pentahydrochloride) is described as “a novel cationic antimicrobial peptide in development for the treatment of inflammatory papules and pustules associated with rosacea”.

Further; “CLS001 is formulated in an aqueous based topical gel. It is designed to provide cosmetic elegance with minimal irritation. Cutanea believes that CLS001 will offer the following advantages: rapid onset of action, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity, and non-detectable systemic absorption, thereby causing minimal adverse side effects.”
