Just wanted to let everyone know I have had 4 treatments with Dr Hartley Thomas of Valparaiso, In and I have received better results with these 4 treatments than after having 9 treatments with another doctor.
The doctor and staff are very knowledgeable and caring and do a wonderful job.
He has several different IPL and laser machines and knows alot about Rosacea and how to treat it. He used the Lumenis Vasculight SR and Genisis laser on me and the results have been great. I no longer experience the burning sensation and hardly ever flush anymore. If I do flush at all it only lasts a little while then is gone. The overall redness has diminished about 90%.

Does he pre-flush you before the treatment? -- how long are treatments? - any bruising? - tell us more on your experience. Prices??

I was in a hurry the last time I posted and forgot some things. He does pre-flush. He used a hair dryer to get a good flush going and then checks to see if the flush is still there after awhile. Then uses the hair dryer again.
He charges $2500 for a package of 5 treatments. If you don't use the whole 5 what is not used can be saved for a maintenance treatment later on.
The previous doctor I went to I use to bruise all the time. By going to this doctor I never bruised. Typically I would be red for a couple of hours after the treatment with the redness gradually fading away over time.
I can honestly say I have had the least down time with this doctor.
