I've done some searching and haven't seen anything regarding this so I'll just up and ask - How many of us with rosacea now had [[roseola]] as infants? I know they are two different things, but I know two people, along with myself, who had roseola in infancy and have rosacea now and I was just wondering.

I never had Roseola, but my daughter just had erythema infectiosum and then I got it from my daughter and now I have the first outbrake of Rosacea I ever had.
Roseola - is also known as 6th disease
Erythema Infectiosum – is also know as 5th disease
Both of these are in a related group of common childhood diseases. Is there a connection? Maybe, I think that it is possible that these diseases could be the trigger later in life for Rosacea.

Hi Jeni,
I had roseola as an infant and I have Rosacea. Interesting thought.... I saw your post and thought it was worth to add my name.
Take care.

Hi Jeni,
Welcome to the Forum. :D
This is an interesting question, perhaps you could post a POLL to bring this to more people's attention and measure the response. Polls can be answered without a post and folks can just answer it once. You will find the POLL option at the bottom when starting a new thread.
Cheers,
Twickle Purple.
